We continue to grow with 8 members in the Club, meeting once a month on a Saturday morning at a member’s house. We don’t have a lot of capacity to take on more projects but we do manage to give something extra where we can to other charity organisations. We have increased our monthly donation to Ladles of Love for their Feed the Future Project as well as an annual donation to the Peninsular School Feeding Scheme. We continue to supply bulk vegetable packs on a monthly basis to CHOC House in Plumstead.
Here are some pictures of the Club’s Activities from January to April 2025:

In January, our club combined a late Christmas party with International Inner Wheel Day. We celebrated together over breakfast at Little Streams Restaurant.
From Left: Lorna Bradley, Angela Collins, Sharon Montgomery -Campbell, Renee Mitchel, Anne Postema, Glynis Jennings, Jenni Pestana, Pauline Whitehead and Kathleen Broderick from IW Tafelberg joined us as she was visiting Pauline.

We donated 7 sets of teaching aids to Ladles of Love. Packed in ice cream tubs, each set included alphabets, numbers, colours, and counters for township ECD schools.

Rosie supplies knitted squares that we stitch into blankets. Twice a year, these go into baby packs for new moms at Wesfleur Hospital

At Woodbridge Island, Dave turns beach and household plastic into Eco Bottles. So far, he has made over 8,000. Most support the Goal50 ECD Centre in Heideveld, a project using tyres, bottles, and other recycled materials. Recently, James Fernie of uThando.org collected more from us.
