Baby packs for newborns

Packs of clothing, toiletries, nappies and toys for Atlantis Hospital  Maternity ward. 

Today Lorna completed putting together the baby packs for delivery to the new moms at Atlantis Hospital.

During the year we collect babygrows, vests and nappies for newborn babies.  Blankets, jackets and hats and booties are knitted as well as small teddy bears and rabbits.

These will be taken to the increasingly needy community served by Atlantis Wesfleur Hospital Neo-Natal.

The rising number of young teen mothers has made this need ever more urgent because they generally enter the facility to give birth with no support. We provide neo-natal layettes several times a year that are distributed by the hospital staff to the most needy mothers.
